I’m an art director and designer. As an art director, I shape the way a creative project should look and how it should run. As a designer, I give form and structure to these visual ideas and present them in the most coherent, pleasing way possible. Ideas extend beyond the visual – they come before, during and after my work on a project and function to get a book seen, a product or pitch noticed, an identity or brand developed. My background was focused largely around book design, specifically cookery books, with over 15 years’ experience with one of the UK’s leading independent food publishers. My experience has broadened considerably since setting up my own company in the summer of 2014, working with brand identity, social media, web and digital design.
